I think it all started in grade school when I realized my love for baking (which was most likely born out of my love for sweets).
Soon I was helping my mom cook dinner a few nights a week, and in high school, I started learning more about ingredients and cooking techniques. Then came that monumental day during freshman year of college when I first discovered the wonder that is Food Network. It soon became my go-to channel to watch in the afternoons after class. I'm sure my roommate thought I was crazy, but just watching it actually taught me even more about cooking! As you can see from my posts, I don't have a particular cuisine that I stick to. Although, being of Italian decent, I definitely have a soft spot for pasta and the like.

Still making sweets. . .
and in the case of these pictures, still sporting a similar haircut to my 2-year- old self.
